In Fall 2012, the Comic Book Workshop enrolled middle school students in the state of New Mexico. Students worked with newsprint paper, micron pens, and were instructed current themes to choose from. Above, a 6th-grader chooses the Trick-Or-Treat theme to tell a visual story about an adventure.
